Time to dive into the plant nerd stuff..
When people hear “industrial hemp phytoremediation”, they imagine one plant.
Reality: not all hemp pulls the same.
Different industrial hemp varietals have different:
🌱 biomass output
🌿 root architecture
⏱️ growth speed
📍 resilience across soils and seasons
And in PFAS/PFOS programs, those differences can decide whether a remediation pathway is:
✅ scalable
✅ repeatable
✅ measurable
…or just a nice idea.
So here’s what HFA is doing (quietly, deliberately):
We have developed and will continue to develop high-biomass hemp varietals with one goal in mind: 👉 improving soil contaminant uptake performance over time.
Not with guesswork. With a loop:
Trial → Sample → Compare → Improve
Because you can’t scale what you can’t repeat.
And you can’t repeat what you don’t measure.
If you manage PFAS‑impacted land in Australia or NZ, here’s the real question:
Would you rather see a remediation plan based on promises…
or varietal performance data that improves with every cycle?
We’re building the data. More soon.
