We are thrilled to share the highlights from our recent field day with the Australian Hemp Council, held at our (HFA) site. This special gathering was an opportunity for us to showcase our new fibre-focused varietal, Wongarra, specifically targeted toward a rapidly emerging end market. Despite only 90 days since sowing, our guests were truly impressed by the uniform plant structure, exceptional vigour during vegetation, and minimal variance in phenotype among the plant populations.

We hosted around 40 attendees who travelled from across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and other regional areas, all eager to witness our new varietal’s performance firsthand. We were honoured to have Councillor David Neuendorf of Lockyer Valley Regional Council cut the ribbon on this exciting launch, joined by industry leaders such as Philip Warner and Paul Benhaim. Their collective expertise and insights made this gathering a celebration and a valuable learning experience.
