Lauchlan Grout - Chief Executive Officer

Lauchlan Grout is the CEO and co-founder of Hemp Farms Australia (HFA), which he established in 2013 with Harrisson Lee. Lauchlan has played a pivotal role in HFA's growth, working across nearly every aspect of Australia's industrial hemp supply chain. His focus areas include primary production, seed multiplication, sales, and protecting proprietary genetics. In addition to his work at HFA, Lauchlan co-founded Australia’s first hemp-based pet food brand, Therabis, which saw success across Australia and New Zealand. With a dual degree in International Business and Mandarin, Lauchlan is also the President of the Queensland Industrial Hemp Association and Vice President of the Australian Hemp Council.

Harrisson Lee - Chief Finance Officer

Harrisson Lee brings a strong background in finance and accounting, along with over 8 years of experience in the hemp industry. As the CFO of Hemp Farms Australia (HFA), Harrisson oversees legal, accounting, finance, and compliance operations, ensuring the business runs smoothly and remains fully compliant with DPI regulations. His passion lies in empowering farmers with reliable, high-quality genetics. Harrisson will remain involved as a board member and advisor to HFA. Harrisson holds a dual degree in commerce and business from Bond University and a graduate certificate in finance from Griffith University.

Anthony Lee - Executive Board Member

Anthony Lee is Chief Executive Officer for the ACC Group. He holds a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Queensland. Anthony Lee brings invaluable expertise to Hemp Farms Australia (HFA) as a strategic advisor and director. With over two decades at Australian Country Choice Pty Ltd (ACC), where he rose from labouring roles to CEO, Anthony’s deep understanding of agribusiness and processing is a significant asset. His leadership experience in scaling operations and optimising supply chains aligns perfectly with HFA's vision of expanding its genetic IP into new markets and climates. Anthony’s insights will be crucial in driving HFA’s mission to expand its genetic IP footprint globally.

Peter Snell - Board Member & Advisor

Peter Snell brings a wealth of financial expertise and strategic insight to Hemp Farms Australia (HFA) as a strategic advisor. With a background as a chartered accountant at Price Waterhouse and experience in finance, audit, and senior management roles, including CFO at Australian Country Choice, Peter's knowledge is extensive. His international experience across the US, Asia Pacific, and Australia/NZ will be crucial as HFA expands into new markets, such as the USA. Peter’s proven ability to enhance business performance and navigate complex financial and regulatory environments will be instrumental in helping HFA manage and protect its genetic IP, driving sustainable growth and securing its position as a global leader in industrial hemp production.

Michael Lee - Executive Board Member

Michael Lee is a key member of the Hemp Farms Australia (HFA) board, bringing extensive agricultural experience from his time managing family cattle properties. His hands-on knowledge in beef cattle management and husbandry provides valuable insights for optimizing HFA’s operations. Additionally, Michael's experience within the ACC processing facility has given him a strong understanding of large-scale processing and operational efficiency. As the CEO of Goat Farms Australia and a director at Australian Cattle and Beef Holdings, Michael's leadership skills are well-proven, and his strategic perspective continues to benefit HFA’s growth and production optimization. His deep involvement in the Lee Family Group Companies further strengthens his role in driving operational excellence at HFA.
