Since 2013, Harrisson and Lauchlan have immersed themselves into every facet this plant has to offer, from large scale industrial operations to advanced in-door phenotype selecting. During this period, they together have built Hemp Farms Australia & MáGenetik – two established cannabis genetics outfits which have assisted Australia’s mainland hemp industry to transition from plot-farming to commercial cropping, establishing themselves at the base of Australia’s cannabis value chain.

Over the past 8 years, the two have overseen and experienced almost every cultivar that has been planted in Australia, spanning from small in-door crops to large commercial broad-acre operations. This broad exposure has awarded them with incredible insight into the genetic lineages that work in our sub-tropical climates, matched with the genetic breeding required to advance Australia’s industry globally.
